Why Anders writes for GDPRControl
Throughout his career, Anders has frequently worked on projects involving marketing, IT and legal teams.
He has seen how different priorities and a lack of shared understanding can lead to solutions that work well for one department but create problems for another.
Marketing may achieve better data collection at the expense of privacy. Legal requirements may be interpreted in ways that unnecessarily restrict useful business activities. Technical solutions may become overly complicated or fail to support business needs.
Anders started GDPRControl to share practical experiences, observations and approaches that can help these departments better understand one another.
His articles focus on finding workable solutions where marketing effectiveness, technical feasibility and privacy protection are considered together.
Areas of expertise: Marketing consent, advertising technology, customer data, analytics, GDPR risk assessments, data governance and cross-functional project leadership.
